My News

I am pleased to be a representative of the Abbey Ward and look forward to the next four years of serving the community.
Already I am working on several cases and have resolved several others.
I, as a councillor, do not want to be missing out of the commuity for long lengths of time, as I beleive representing your constituants is the prime objective as it is the people who put you in office so it must be people first.

At this moment in time I, and my fellow councillors are working to get better parking facilities on our estates. We have two estates that are in dire need of parking. These estates were built in the 1950's but are suffering 2007 parking problems.

Ther are many other issues Roads, Pavements Etc but as we all know this all takes time

We now have a new working committee on Mowmacre Tenants And Residents Association (MTARA). In the past Mr Terry Knight and Mr Ted Randall have kept the Tenants Association afloat. We would like to take this oportunity to thank these two gentlemen for giving their time and dedication to this community
The Wheatland Centre (M.T.A.R.A) base has now gone from being open twice weekly to being open five and a half days per week.
It was decided by Cllr Marriott and Cllr Bhavsar to hold casework surgeries each saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm to give people that work throughout the week a chance to come and discuss issues of importance to them.
