After 3 years of stability and below inflation Council Tax rises the Labour Administration has set the Council Tax for Leicester barely below the maximum allowed by Central Government at 4.95%.

This level of rise is anticipated not only for 2008/9, but also for 2009/10 and 2010/11, though don't be surprised if it less in this final year, there are elections then!
