I have been a Volunteer at Children's Performing Arts Group "Kids To Entertain You" since October 2005, assisting the group with its accounting and fundraising as well as general support for the group's outdoor activities. I am very pleased to support Claire Cank and Jo Churcher with thier new venture, "Angels and Monsters Childcare Centre", which has risen from from the closed Braunstone Resource Childcare Centre. Claire and Jo (both of whom have worked for many years in the Braunstone Community) are working extremely hard to make the new childcare centre work and have amazed many in how quickly they have created a viable business. When I'm not busy, more often than not I go and support and roadie for "Hot City Nights". They are a great band whose mix of 80's rock anthems and tributes to Tina Turner, Meatloaf and Queen are a winner with nearly every crowd that they have played to. The band, which includes my brother, Shaun, who is the drummer along with Carl Merry (vocals) and Arron Stevens (guitar) are regularly playing all over the country.
